In many industrial applications, it is simply not possible to place large, heavy or permanently installed workpieces under a stationary marking device. Therefore, a mobile solution is required. For this reason, the Dot peen marker PortaDot 6030T was developed specifically for these challenges. It enables permanent marking directly on the workpiece, regardless of size, weight or location.

Moreover, the PortaDot 6030T combines the power of an industrial dot peen marker with the freedom of a fully portable, self-contained system. Previously, portable dot peen markers required external controllers and cumbersome cables. However, this limitation no longer applies. Today, the PortaDot 6030T operates as a complete stand-alone solution with an integrated computer, a large touchscreen and intuitive operation.

As a result, the system is ideal for flexible use in production, assembly, maintenance and outdoor applications.

Mobile marking without limits – simple, flexible and independent

All marking data can be entered directly via the programmable touchscreen, which includes a screen protector and stylus. Therefore, no external PC is required. In addition, the powerful 36 V rechargeable battery allows numerous markings without restrictive cables. Consequently, the device remains fully mobile, even in demanding industrial environments.

Precise marking on flat and round workpieces

Furthermore, the specially developed flat attachment with integrated V-shaped recesses allows both flat and round workpieces to be marked without retooling. At the same time, automatic LED lighting with a motion sensor ensures excellent visibility, even in poorly lit areas.

Powerful technology for permanent results

Thanks to high-torque motors and precision threaded spindles, the PortaDot 6030T meets all requirements for both series and individual marking. In addition, a robust carbide stylus, driven by an electromagnet, produces clear, deep and durable dot markings – even on hard materials.

Maximum material versatility up to 62 HRC

The Dot peen marker PortaDot 6030T permanently marks almost all materials up to 62 HRC, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, plastics and painted surfaces. Moreover, the system automatically compensates for height differences of up to 3 mm, ensuring consistent marking quality.
