Portable Press
The portable press from Röltgen is an extremely robust, portable and mobile solution for the precise embossing of metal components directly on site. With an impressive embossing force of up to 10 tonnes, it enables permanently legible markings on flat and round materials – ideal for applications in steel construction, T-beams, steel plates, pipes and profiles of all kinds.
Thanks to the hydraulic hand press, which is powered by a rechargeable battery, this device is completely mobile and independent of external energy sources. Perfectly suited for construction sites, hall production or workshops where components are often too large or too heavy to be transported to stationary embossing machines.
In steel and metal construction in particular, it is important that markings remain visible even after galvanising processes – the hydraulic press produces a deep, permanently legible marking after galvanising or painting.
Powerful & flexible – up to 10 tonnes of embossing force
The embossing force of the clamp press is roughly adjustable, so that it can be optimally adapted to different materials and wall thicknesses. The press is suitable for:
- Flat materials up to 40 mm in height
- Round materials up to 40 mm in diameter
- Components in steel construction, pipe construction, mechanical engineering and metal construction
- Markings directly on T-beams, profiles and structural elements
This allows serial numbers, batch information, logos or test stamps to be permanently embossed.
Compatible with various embossing tools
Different embossing tools can be used for a wide range of applications:
- Type holders from product group 1340
- Steel types from groups 1415 and 1416
- Embossing tools from article group 1601
This flexibility allows letters, numbers and special characters to be embossed in a wide variety of sizes and arrangements.
Two counter-pressure plates for flat and round materials
Two specialised counter-pressure plates are included in the scope of delivery for optimum material support:
1. Adjustable counterpressure plate for flat material
- Ideal for signs, plates, angle profiles, T-beams or flat steel
- Maximum immersion depth: 35 mm from the edge of the material
2. Prism counterpressure plate for round material
- Suitable for pipes, bar material and round profiles
- Up to a diameter of 40 mm
This means that the press can be used universally both in the workshop and on the construction site.
Ergonomic & mobile – ideal for daily use
The clamp press is equipped with a second handle for comfortable handling. This can be mounted on the left or right as required and enables precise working for both right- and left-handed users.
For longer or frequent use, the device can be suspended from a balancer – a stable eyelet is already integrated into the housing. This optimally balances the weight and makes working significantly more ergonomic.
