You don’t need to bring large, heavy or permanently installed parts to the marking station. With Röltgen’s portable laser, you can mark parts right where the work is being carried out – directly on the component, without the need for a fixed workstation and without creating any additional bottlenecks in your production process. Unique worldwide: the first Class 1 portable laser marking system
that runs entirely on battery power – without any compressed air hoses or mains connection. Other mobile systems require electricity, compressed air or both. This one does not. The battery lasts a full working day; if necessary, you can recharge it from a mains socket whilst marking continues.

That’s what you get
• Class 1 laser safety — safe to mark alongside colleagues without safety goggles or shielding.
• No mains power, no compressed air — ready for use straight away, anywhere.
• 30-watt fibre laser — fast, permanent, high-contrast markings on steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and many alloys.
• All content — serial numbers, plain text, Data Matrix and QR codes, logos and barcodes.
• Ideal for large and immovable items — manufactured parts, castings, pipes, containers and the steel warehouse (batch, grade, date).
• Can be operated by one person — approx. 50 kg on four robust industrial castors, easy to move back and forth between locations.
Safety Class 1 — Standard, not optional
A vacuum safety system checks that the marking head is in firm contact with the component; four proximity switches provide additional safety. The laser only marks when secure contact is established — no manual override, no marking ‘in the air’. This allows you to mark safely in open, busy factory halls.

The right mask for every component shape
Interchangeable jigs for flat, curved and round surfaces, for bar and tube ends, and for repeatable positioning with clamping. Jig changed — carry on without any additional set-up time.
Typical applications
Large manufactured parts and assemblies, non-movable castings, pipework and pressure vessels, vehicles and rail vehicles, construction site equipment — wherever the component cannot be brought to the station.
Marking area
A choice of two lenses: 70 × 70 mm or 70 × 25 mm.
The integrated 3-inch display on the marking head shows a live preview, the locking status and the job data — allowing you to align the mark precisely without having to glance at a separate computer.
Control
The portable laser is controlled by MarkMaster 4.0, Röltgen’s new software for industrial laser marking and traceability. MarkMaster 4.0
was developed for real-world production environments and offers functions for layout creation, data entry and management, serialisation, and integration with external data systems.

The masks available include:
Mask for flat surfaces: for slabs, panels, flat surfaces and machined surfaces
Mask for curved surfaces: for cylindrical, round or contoured surfaces such as pipes, containers and castings
Bar-end template: for marking the end face of round bars, square bars or tubes
Clamping template: for applications requiring repeatable positioning, with an integrated clamping mechanism for precise alignment of the head with a specific feature of the component
