For example, we have designed systems for crankshafts and camshafts. Components are stamped with a data matrix code and plain text. A camera system then checks the legibility so that faulty markings are detected immediately. This ensures that only tested components are released.<\/p>\n
We have also developed systems for aluminium die-cast housings in the automotive industry. Immediately after casting, the components are given a serial number and a data matrix code. A verification system then checks the marking, while each processing station scans the code. This allows production steps to be documented and, at the same time, components remain traceable at all times.<\/p>\n
