Röltgen has been manufacturing hand marking punches since 1941. These are still engraved today and not cold-formed or press-fitted. The engraving guarantees a clean finish and thus an excellent stamping result.
Röltgen provides training for this craft right from the start and can thus rely on its own skilled workforce.
Inferior quality is often “sold” as an advantage. The “depth limit”, as it is known, should not be regarded as an advantage, but rather a simple way of saving on production costs. Apparently, this depth limit is there to ensure the same embossing depth is achieved with every blow. This is already covered by the strength of the material, however. On the contrary, the depth limit is a major disadvantage as it makes it more difficult to achieve clean results as the stamping progresses. Röltgen thus processes the surfaces for engraving. This makes it easier for the user to hammer a clean, multi-digit label. We will be more than happy to produce a marking punch for you with your logo or preferred text in a variety of dimensions.
