In order to optimise our production, we have decided on Fehlmann to supply our precision drilling and milling machine. The machine will be used generally in machinery construction as well as in jig making and tool making and is equipped with the latest Heidenhain control unit.
As part of the process of installing and setting up the new machine, we also completely reconfigured the milling area in order to optimise our internal processes. With a workspace of 800 mm x 400 mm x 400 mm and a clamping surface of 1400 mm x 480 mm, Röltgen now manufactures high-precision components and small batches of up to 100 pieces. Fitted with a boring lever and a hand wheel, manual operation is also possible. This has considerably increased the flexibility of the machine.
